Graham was formerly the Director of Golf Course Maintenance at Black Diamond Ranch, a Tom Fazio designed, private 45- hole facility in Lecanto, Florida – just outside Tampa. The Quarry course is currently ranked #181 in Golf Digest’s Rankings of America’s Greatest Golf Courses and #54 in Golfweek’s Rankings of America’s Best Residential Golf Courses . His golf courses have played host to local, state, and national events of the USGA and NCAA. The greens at Black Diamond Ranch are regularly regarded as among the best in the state of Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Turfgrass Management Program and is certified by the GCSAA. He has successfully supervised renovation and grow-in projects including greens, bunkers, and irrigation. He is a data junkie and constantly gathers information about all aspects of the agronomy of his courses to understand turf conditions and needs. Graham places significant emphasis on greens conditions and health – having developed and fine-tuned his own treatment program over the years that has shown outstanding results across a multitude of climates and grasses. Graham possesses an extremely high level of expertise, ability to lead, and overall passion for his career. Graham’s confidence in his ability to bring aesthetics, turf quality, and overall excellence and professionalism to Southern Trace will be evident to all very soon. Graham, along with his wife Claire and young son Lucas, will be making the move to Shreveport in the coming weeks, and we ask all of you when you see them to give a warm Southern Trace welcome. We cannot wait to introduce them to all of you so you can learn for yourself why he was our unanimous first choice at every single step of this process.
