Matthew originally hails from Weimar, Texas, and has over twenty years of coaching experience at many of our nation’s renowned tennis academies and private clubs. A member of the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Director Team since 2009, Matthew served as the Director of Tennis at the Tyler Athletic and Swim Club in Tyler, Texas since 2018, and prior to that served as the regional tennis operations director for six club programs and director teams in California. Before joining Cliff Drysdale Tennis, Matthew held Director roles at Harper’s Point Racquet Club in Cincinnati (OH), Great Hills Country Club in Austin (TX), and the world famous John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels (TX). Matthew is thrilled to join the Southern Trace club team, and to have the opportunity to settle down in Shreveport with his wife Anya and their two young sons.
